Trip To The Firehouse!

Averi's preschool class took a field trip to the fire station! I got to come along and bring Wyatt and Reagen too. It was very interesting to learn some of the details on being a firefighter, especially when I was talking to them about how to become one! It is a long and hard process! They showed us their living quarters, and I had to save the remote from Wyatt! He just immediately crawled up in the chair and made himself at home!

Averi was a bit shy and wouldn't stand close to the fireman when he put all of his gear on!

I tried to get a family picture, but once Wy saw the firetruck, he sure didn't want to be held!

Both Averi and Wyatt did like to explore the truck though!

And then Wy learned he could crawl up and play with all the knobs and buttons!

Once both of them got inside it was hard to get them out. They just wanted to sit there all day!

They had the opportunity to squirt the hose!

Once again, when Wy realized it was water, I had to try hard to keep him away from it so the other kids could have a chance!

This was one field trip that I really enjoyed! Thanks to Miss Becca for setting it up!

Thanksgiving 2009

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Pappa and Grandma's house on the Saturday before actual Thanksgiving. This has become the tradition so that the whole family can be there. We ended up with 15 adults, 6 kids, 3 toddlers, and 1 baby! Luckily my parents have a big house to handle the chaos!

Highlights from our day.......!

Wyatt and Cousin Dylan enjoying their sippy cups!
Brady, my cousins husband, hanging out with Wyatt!

Averi and her Cousin Ben hung out all day together!

Gavin playing in the backyard.

My little Sweet Pea, happy as always in Daddy's arms!

The Smith Girls!

Thanks to Wyatt's love of shoes, he was only slowed down when he found Pappa's slippers!

My brother Matt holding Reagen.

My Cousin Brianna.

My Nephew Dylan, who loves Elmo!
My Cousin Cambria and her son Zorin. We were especially happy to find out that they are expecting again!

What would Thanksgiving be without a little bit of football? With the Johnson and Burton family it is a must...and the UCLA game was playing on the television in the background!

Matt, Brett and Brady!

The Johnson, Burton, Facer, and Smith Family!

My Family!

After dinner, we take the traditional walk around the neighborhood. This tradition started when we used to have Thanksgiving at Poppy and Nonny's house and has now continued over to my parents. It is always enjoy when everyone gets together for the holidays!

Reagen's Blessing Day

Steve had the opportunity to bless Reagen on Sunday. Pappa and Grandma came down to church and Pappa was there for her blessing too. It was an emotional experience, not because she is the last, but we were just reminded of how blessed we are to have her in our family and how precious life is!
My little Sweet Pea looked beautiful in her white dress. It was the same one that Averi wore for her blessing.
My eternal family!
The Smith girls!

It was a perfect day for our family!

Wyatt Loves Reagen!

I put Reagen down on the floor today to get some exercise. Wyatt thought it would be a good idea to join her. He has been very interested in his baby sister lately, and I think he has discovered that she is here to stay!
Wyatt being very soft!
Wyatt trying to cuddle up next to her.
Giving snotty nose kisses!

I love my sweet kids!

Soccer

Ethan and Gavin just finished up their soccer season. They played in different division because of their age for the YMCA this year.Gavin really enjoys soccer!
He is such a hustler out on the field!
He is pretty talented at soccer and is a good ball handler. He learned a lot from his coach this year especially about playing different positions.
Ethan was on a difficult team because they only had five players. He ended up doing a lot of running throughout the season.
He did end up scoring two goals this year (the team only scored three the entire season). It was wonderful to see the smile and excitement he had when he accomplished this!
His favorite position was when he got to be goalie!
I was proud of his hard work and dedication throughout the season!
I have to say even though it meant no sleeping in on Saturdays, I really enjoyed watching them play this year. I really wish that I could have helped coach, but that was impossible with my c-section! That's ok because I was still the screaming mom on the sidelines...along with Grandma!

Halloween 2009

The kids had a very fun filled Halloween Week! On Tuesday we went to our ward trick or trunk. It was a tun of fun and we were so exhausted when we got home that the kids took a ditch day from school on Wednesday! On Friday, we all headed up to Pappa and Grandma's ward trick or trunk! On Saturday, we went back to my parents house, because their neighborhood is much safer. By the time the kids got dressed and ready to go out, they were a bit Halloweened out! But, we went through the neighborhood, and ended up with a lot of chocolate, which I always enjoy!Wyatt was my little Knight in Shining Armor!

Ethan was a British Redcoat Soldier!

Reagen was just cute! We dressed her up in the little witch onesie! (thank you Marlo!)

Gavin was a pirate!

Averi was a ladybug...complete with sparkly shoes!
