I love having children! It is always the little things they do that make me laugh. Tonight, we put the kids in a bath, so they are nice and clean for church tomorrow. When they got out, we told the boys to go and get dressed in their pajamas. Well, I was busy doing laundry, and Steve was getting Wyatt ready for bed, so Averi decided to get dresses all by herself too. She came out into the living room, proudly wearing Gavin's old clothes! I laughed hard at how cute she was!

O.k. after I read Lani's "book tag" I got a huge laugh. On the kitchen table, right by my computer was twenty-three books. I recently cleaned out the hall cupboard of all the books to put away in the library...I mean the garage! So, I closed my eyes and picked one. It is titled A Fresh Start In Fairhaven, and it is book one of the Fairhaven Chronicles. If you haven't read these, they are about a Bishop who is called to serve in the new Fairhaven Ward! Anyways, the story talks about his family and his experiences as bishop. Kind of ironic, isn't it Lani, since you are the one who "book tagged" me! I was going to give you these books to read, but I kind of figured you already live the life! So, the fifth sentence on page 123 reads, "I have that little barnwood one with the silk flowers twining around it, and I'm sure I can find a couple of others to go with it."

I would love to take a picture of this book , but unfortunately my camera is out of batteries. I would be a rich person if I ever got around to buying stock in Duracell! You know it is a weird day when you make a separate shopping trip just to buy batteries!

I love the pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt at our house. The boys were so excited that they didn't even take time to put t-shirts on after changing from their church clothes!

Dyeing Easter Eggs on Saturday night.

Here are some pictures from Saturday celebrating Easter at Dad and Mom's house. The cousins all had fun together! Mom's pond is just a bit too tempting for the younger kids. They love to throw rocks in it. Look at the picture of baby Dylan. Only 3 months old. He is the biggest kid I have ever seen! He looks like a Sumo wrestler!

I can't believe it. Here is my Wyatt! He is already one month old! He is such a joy to this family, and to Mom, because he sleeps through the night!!!! We live for his smiles, and he loves it when we sing to him. It is funny how he has already come up with so many nicknames. Averi named him "Diet" and I call him my "Wy-Guy." I love having a baby around! I just wish he would stop growing so fast.

Today was the second day of spring break, and it started out with a bang! I am housesitting my parents dog while they are in Utah, and he was no where to be found when I woke up! I haven't been that scared in awhile. You have to understand, this dog was previously my Nonny and Poppy's dog before they passed away, and he is spoiled.....were talking to the point that the dog gets half-and-half poured over his food in the morning! Anyways, thinking that my grandparents will haunt me from their grave if anything happens to Bubba, I huredly dressed the kids in order to start our neighborhood search for this beloved dog! As we were running out of the house, Averi wearing only a shirt and diaper because it would take too long to get her dessed, low and behold, I flung open the front door, and in my state of panic, nearly tripped over Bubba! Whew....I immediately dropped to my knees for a prayer of thanks!

I also managed to take all four children clothing shopping today....and I am still alive to tell about it. The family will look great for Easter, but I am sure Burlington Coat Factory will never forget the experience of the Smith Family :)

Now that I am not pregnant anymore, I have slowly been trying to catch up on everything that I couldn't do the last couple of months. Well, in my frustration of being overwhelmed, I bribed the kids with money to help me pull weeds. I was ready for a bunch of complaining, but the weeds we so big, we all ended up just lauhing and having a blast!
Well, its time for dinner! Let's see if I can actually get Lani's recipe right this time. Third time is a charm! Leave it to me to mess up a recipe that is cooked in a crock pot!

Here we are on a Saturday morning. Believe it or not...Steve doesn't have to work today, so he gets to take Averi to her dance/gymnastics class! I had to hurry and capture a picture of my pumpkin pot pie, because as we all know, her hair will be out of that bow in about 3 more seconds :)

Well, here is my attempt at blogging! It won't be long....thanks to Lani, I stayed up way too late last night reading Chasing Paradise! Even with four kids, I still feel like I have a very forgetful mind lately....maybe due to a newborn! I am flying by the seat of my pants!
