Lazy Days of Summer

I love my little 'Wy' guy. He is the sweetest baby. He is so cute, and I just love to take pictures of him. Tonight, he fell asleep on his own, and let me make dinner all at one time! It only took me 1/2 hour tonight, but usually is about a two hour affair. Anyways, he loves sucking on his fist, so I had to capture the picture. And then he was so happy when he woke up!

Fathers Day

We had a pretty low key Father's Day. I did get Steve two Scentsy Car Candles, and a t-shirt that says, "Guns Don't Kill People.....Fathers With Pretty Daughters Do!" Plus, I also made him the famous 'Jill Payne and Matt Hunter' cookies. Here is a picture of Steve with his little ones!

Wyatt

I'm having a bad hair day!

Pillow Fight!!!!!

In times of great stress, don't get mad, just get into a pillow fight. Unfortunately, I always seem to be the target!

Well, we made it through the first weeks of summer. I have to admit, I enjoy my days of sleeping in, and I have really enjoyed having the boys home all the time. They keep Averi entertained, and I can actually get some things done! I am so glad all my children are such good friends!

Here are some highlights of last week..... Yes, Averi is potty trained. I know the picture is blurry, but she is showing off her big girl underwear, and mom is celebrating the $40+ dollars a month saving on diapers. Only one kid in diapers now!

We had Bubba Black over for the week, while Pappa and Grandma were in Hawaii. He is such a good dog! As you can see in the picture, Averi has been treating him like her own personal pet. Yes, he was actually wearing Averi's headband around the backyard, without any complaints!

Ethan, Gavin, and Averi have been spending a great deal of their time getting wet by the sprinkler on the trampoline. (I thought I would learn from one broken arm!) But now, the boys are very careful not to jump high when Averi is on with them. I'm surprised I haven't passed out yet from the many times I have been holding my breath while this activity takes place. And Wyatt has mastered the skill of rolling over on his stomach....and then proceeding to scream because he can't do anything once he gets there. He was trying so hard, that he actually fell asleep in the process!

FHE blog tag activity!

I am blog tagging everyone who wants a really fun (maybe frustrating) FHE. My Mom originally received this as an email from one of her friends. When I was living in Ojai, she gave it to me to complete, and I never got it completely done. I thought for the last four years that I lost it, but when I opened up a recipe book I had from the Ojai Relief Society, I found the paper tucked inside. I was so excited, and I stayed up way too late last night, until I could no longer see straight, but I finally completed it. Anyways, here it goes. (you will have to print it out for your family to do)

Can you find the names of 25 books of the Bible in this paragraph?

This is a most remarkable puzzle. Someone found it in the seat pocket on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping himself occupied for hours. One man from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Roy Clark studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Victs mentioned it in her column once. One woman judges the job to be so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help calm her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot....that's a fact. Some people will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. The truth is, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at the worst. Something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have. Those able to find all of them will hear lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation may help, books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. And punctuation or spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete. Remember, there are 25 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph.

Well, good luck, and let me know how you did!
